..sew-sew..

Well, I've finally got these little guys going up in my Etsy store tonight.

I love making these pincushions. The tomato just reminds me so much of sitting next to my grandmother next to the sewing machine while she made baby quilts and wedding dresses for my Barbies. I have tons of fun and funky fabric to make these with. Tomatoes don't just have to be red you know! :D

Two posts today, I'm on a roll!

Peace, love and koala fuzz ya'll :)

..vintage moon!..

I am so in love with this new line from Pink Paislee. It's so me :) And I love that it's Fall/Halloweenish without being blatantly Halloween, kwim? Pop Fashion is totally cute too.

If you want to get your little paws on some right now (yes, right now, as in, Stacey is shipping as soon as you order!) then head on over to the All Moments Remembered store and grab ya some! She has the Top Siders too, they're so cool. And if you get a second, swing by Stacey's blog and check out all of the other new stuff she has.

This Saturday, we'll be having a crop in the AMR forums too. Everyone is invited. There's gonna be lots of challenges and RAKs being given away. I'm hosting one of the challenges, and all I'm gonna say is it involves a needle and thread :D

So go buy you some Pink Paislee, then come join my challenge on Saturday. The crop starts at 4pm Eastern time and goes until whenever!

..I really love your peaches..

..wanna shake your tree!! :)

I had every intention of getting up and hitting some yard sales today, but I ended up doing a little work instead. As if making my little Stick Pins wasn't blinding enough (I have GOT to get a magnifying glass!), I have started making dollhouse miniatures! Talk about tiny, I mean I'm making peaches that are 1/4" big! I must be crazy :) Anyway, I got a few things stocked in my Etsy shop if you wanna see some stuff :)

Check out mah peaches!! :D

Now I have cleaning to do.. I'd rather play, it's so much more fun than cleaning house. Why was playing house so much fun when we were kids? Where did that funness get lost, when the dishes got real? :)

Peace, love and koala fuzz ya'll!

..i say to-mah-to..

Yay, got the camera to behave long enough to get my sneak peek up :)

Hmm, any ideas? Obviously it goes along with my pins :) Hubby is leaving for work in the morning so I should have new stuff in the shop by this weekend :)

..you say tomato..

So, I was going to show you a sneak peek of some things I'm working on for my Etsy shop, but my camera, for who-knows-what reason, isn't connecting to my computer. So, no sneak :(

Maybe I can get it working later tonight.. In the meantime, I can tell you that I'm super excited that Fall is just around the corner. It's my favorite season: Halloween, big chunky sweaters that hide my rolls, pumpkins and warm apple pie. Speaking of pumpkins, check out what I put in the shop last night..

Yip, love me some pumpkins :) Check back tomorrow, maybe my camera will start cooperating and I can have a sneak up by then.

Peace, love and koala fuzz ya'll!

..hola!..

I'm back, with MORE Mexico pictures, mwahaha! I wasn't going to post too many, but Lynn said she wanted more. And what Lynn wants, well... :D So here ya go :D By the way, you can click on them to see 'em bigger :)

This guy had his little coconut stand on the street. He just whacked the top off, stuck a straw in and you were on your way :)

There's me, my sister in law Jenn, her husband Steven, and my hubby in the reflection. This was our elevator at the hotel. There was one word for it.. HOT. Not even kidding.

This was at Pipi's Restaurant. They make your guacamole tableside and it was fan-flippin-tastic! That's a big deal, considering the fact that I don't even like guacamole!

Jeff breakin' it down in front of the arches on the Malecon (that's Spanish for waterfront boulevard). Those are his parents.. notice his dad is walking away in shame :D

This guy was doing some amazing sand art. Apparently they only make a new one about every week or so, depending on how much it rains. So we were lucky to see this one in action. Very cool.

Here's another. This one had been there for a while. You can see that they actually sprayed color on it when they first made it.

And that's my buddy Marv. We became friends at the marina.. until he got caught on a fish hook. He wasn't so much my friend after that.

Are you cross-eyed yet? :) I won't put anymore in this post. I will, however, give a big THANKS! to Marilyn and Eileen, who gave me this beautiful, shiny blog award.

Photobucket

Both of these gals have fun blogs, and you should go visit them. And I'm supposed to pass this award on. So, I give it to everyone who reads my blog. Seriously, there can't be that many of you haha :) But really, if you're reading this, take that award, stick it up on your blog and say, "Harley gave me this because she loves me!" It's the truth. I love each and every one of my blog pals. And one day, I will show up at your house to crash on your couch :D

Oh, and later on this afternoon I'm gonna restock my Etsy shop :)

Peace, love and koala fuzz ya'll :D

..i'm home!..

And playing catch-up! :) Mexico was a BLAST and I have so many pictures and SOO much to write and scrap. I'm not gonna post the long, drawn-out version. But I will give you some important points...

* You can NOT get Mountain Dew there, even though they carry Pepsi and Coke. I was one upset koala bear!
* Do your best NOT to get pulled over by police in Mexico. It is a scary experience! :)
* Most of the roads there suck, big time.
* People will drive 2 ways on a 1-way street.. watch out.
* There is no where you can go that you won't get hit up to buy something.
* The Mega store has the absolute BEST doughnuts I've ever eaten!
* The scenery, architecture and art is GORGEOUS!
* On vacation, even people with a fear of heights will zip-line 50ft. up and over 350ft. of jungle.
* I live in Bama, so I'm used to 98 degree weather, but Mexico is more humid than I have EVER seen.

That was as short as I could get it :) And now, some photos for your viewing pleasure!

..The view from our room..

..Our view at dinner from the top of a hotel in town..

..That's my dinner in there, flambe!..

..Our waiters making sexy coffee, and I swear that's really what it's called..

..Here we are!..

..The marina where we left from to go deep sea fishing..

..Me & J climbing some art!..

Ok that's all for now. I know it's overwhelming but there are just too many good pics :)
