..this is what happens..

..when the weather gets pretty around here. I disappear from my blog for days at a time, lol. I'm getting ready for Spring. We tilled our garden up yesterday, now we just have to decide exactly what we want to plant this year.

I managed to send off my Coraline Mystery Box and my Vintage Spring Sweetness Box without taking any pics of them first... *dink* So hopefully the recipients will take pics and let me have a couple ;)

I received my Coraline Mystery Box from my partner and it is so cool! Hubby has been using the camera all day, so as soon as he's done I will post pictures of it.

Today is a spring cleaning day for me, trying to get as much done as I can so that maybe I can craft a little tonight. With me taking on more subbing days, I haven't had time to do much, and I'm going through withdrawals! I can't leave this post without a picture of something, and since I haven't created anything (other than the aforementioned boxes that I didn't photograph *dink*) then I will leave you with my favorite fillers.. the LOLcats!

..i did wear green but..

..you can still pinch me if you want :) Just a little love pinch, not a hard "leave me bruised" pinch. I love this holiday. I love all things green, love that there is a holiday dedicated to luck (the only luck I usually have is not-so-good) and love that you can wear anything silly today, and as long as it's green, you're cool :D

..it's my birthday..

..and I'll be sick if I want to! Well, I don't really want to. But I seem to have a really bad cold. I felt it coming on Friday, and tried to head it off with some medication. Apparently I wasn't fast enough. So anyway, here I am, alone on my birthday, with the sickies. I just really hope I feel better tomorrow, because I'm taking over as Theater teacher at our local high school for the rest of the year. The current teacher is going on maternity leave. I can't be sick on my first day of school! :)

Meanwhile, I have resumed Playing Animal Crossing:Wild World on my Nintendo DS. I put it down for a while, not really sure why. But if any of you play it, I'd be happy to share my Friend Code with you so you can come see my weedy little town. That's what happens when you go away for a while, you get weeds :D Going for more medication...

Our recent warm weather is making me ready for Easter! :) I will be making a series of Egg Pins for Spring, up until April 15. No two eggs will be the same, and they will not be reproduced for custom orders.

The first little one up in the shop is my Robin's Egg with the pink flowering vine.

I'm so excited about these, and I'm going to have a hard time giving them up! :D

It has been so pretty here the last couple of days. My thermometer says it's 73 degrees right now, and it's supposed to be warmer tomorrow. Oh how my toes have missed flip flops! of course that also means it's time for some spray tanning, lol :D

..hooray for sleeping late..

Today was the first morning in a long time that I got to sleep in. It was so nice :) Eventually I had to get out of bed because I heard the mail lady leave a package on our porch. I got to rub it in J's face today, because it was for me! (Usually he gets like, a package every day because he works part time for a R/C airplane company, but not today, ha!)

The box was from Emma's Paperie. They recently had their 1st Birthday Bash, and I won one of their prize drawings. I opened the box and saw that they had gift wrapped everything! It was so pretty, like they knew my birthday was coming :) It almost made me feel bad to open it... almost.

There was so much cute stuff inside. It was all love themed, which reminded me that I need more pictures of me and J. Thanks to everyone at Emma's Paperie for celebrating their birthday with me :D

In other news, I will have some more of these guys going up in the shop this weekend. I think they will go over well for Spring.

And I got more done on my Coraline project yesterday. That scary just-a-face now looks like this..

Well, it's a beautiful Saturday, and hubbo has to go back to work tomorrow. So I think I'm going to go spend some time outside with him.
