With cupcakes is endless, lol :) I just love how cute and individual and personal they are. I mean, a cupcake isn't something you share. At least, I don't, lol! Hubby and I can have our own fave. No compromise. And I'm so excited that cupcakes are now "in" and you get can get all kinds of cupcake related stuff! I mean, check this stuff out...

..february has been lovely..

Except that blogging via the phone is difficult! Lol. So, for the last week FE has been in heat, so we've had to deal with not only her howling all night in the house, but also male cats howling outside the house! It's driving us crazy, but we can't afford to get her fixed until next month. Ugh..

I also have another money-spending decision to make. I've been invited to compete in a cake competition next month in Atlanta. That's a big honor, and a big opportunity. But it's also gonna be 'spensive! It'll end up being a $400 trip when it's all said and done. First prize is $1000, but I can't go expecting to win because there's going to be a ton of people there. Big decision to think about. The gas and the hotel room would be the biggest expenses.

Just not this month, lol. Ok, seriously I have been missing in action Annie this month on the ol' blog-o-rino here. I mean I seriously cannot believe how fast time goes when you're busy.

I have two big events this week: Thursday is the hubbo's birthday. His mom has graciously allowed us to take over her house for the night for his party because my kitchen is covered in cake because of event #2, the Spring Bridal Show.

The Bridal Show is on Sunday, and I only wish it was NEXT Sunday. I got a call from one of the event managers today. She let me know that she got me in a better spot in the ballroom which is excellent. I just wish I had known about it sooner because now I will have a wall behind me, and if it wasn't such short notice I would have com up with something to hang on it. I also got a call today from a special-effects lighting company that will be doing the lights on the stage in the ballroom during the show and during the fashion show as well. He wanted to know if I would want to make a display cake to be up on stage the whole time, done up with special lighting. Um yes, I would! :D But that means one more display cake to add to my list of 6 already. Plus I'm going to try to do the stage cake 6 tiers tall... yikes :D Cross your fingers for me, lol.

So I'm elbow deep in frosting, and haven't had time to do much else. Eat, sleep, make cake, and answer phone calls, with less of the eating and sleeping, and more of the other two.

Yes, so.. I still love you all. A lot. And I miss you. I'm trying, really.. I mean, it's hard what with updating here, and Facebook, and Twitter. Technology is exhausting :D

I know, I'm a day late and a dollar short.. story of my life :) But I did have a wonderful New Year's Eve, and it was made even better by getting to sleep in with the hubs on New Year's Day! But January 2nd means taking down all of my Christmas stuff.. that always makes me a little sad, but I have SO much to look forward to in 2010! I'm hoping for good changes, and wishing for success. Surely to goodness now that the holidays are over I can get back to blogging regularly! I hope so, just for my sake. It helps keep me sane :D

I am so looking forward to Christmas this year. Hubbo will be home, I got him rockin' gifts this year, and we've got lots of family to visit. I don't know how often he looks at my blog since I'm a complete slacker and I don't post very often.. but one of his gifts is very cool, and I can't wait to post pics. It's handmade ;)

So for all of my online friends, I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I hope you all have safe trips, great food and wonderful memories! I hope Santa is good to all of you!

Big time raining here.. that's ok though. I've been cleaning and wrapping Christmas presents. Trying to get hubbo's wrapped before he gets home tonight. Sneaky sneaky :)

Question.. is it bad that I bought my sister a Christmas present last year and hid it so well that I still haven't found it?! Lol! :D
