Just a quick update... grandmother had the surgery, and it went well. I'm really hoping this protein pack thing will help her gain back her strength.

Oh, and the most wonderful news :) I gave my two weeks notice at work yesterday! Lol, it's wonderful because that job was (almost literally) killing me. My doctor said that most of my health problems could be attributed to stress from work. So he wrote me a 2 weeks excuse from work (using some paid sick leave, yay!) and I put in my two weeks, so I'm not even going to have to go back. You have no idea how liberating that is! :)

Ok, back to cleaning up this scrap room. One of my LSS is having a Yard Sale at the end of April, and I'm gonna have lots to sell :)

..things on hold..

Well things around here have been sorta put on hold lately. Jeff's grandmother has been put back in the hospital again. She has had some really bad problems with her stomach, and now it's gotten to the point where I think she's just tired of doing it... She has lot so much weight, and is so tired all the time. She can't eat, she barely drinks. We're afraid that she's just giving up.

Just wanted to update in case there are some of you wondering about the PADIM or why I haven't been on the message boards lately.

..early week PADIM..

Just some quick pics of my girl and a tree in my backyard... yip, it has a face :) I've always thought the tree faces were a little scary. Still do a little bit, but mom gave me this one for Christmas, so I had to put it up. He's not too bad.. at least he isn't making a scary face :)

..little sis..

Thanks to one of Janet Phillips' templates, and the new free Shabby Princess digi kit, I actually got a layout done today!

Isn't that such a cute, spring-y kit? It has butterflies too :) So go make some layouts with it, then comment here with a link to your pics. I'd love to see what you other digi gals can do with it :)

Ok, so I'm a slacker when it comes to posting, but not when it comes to snapping some photos. I'm still doing my PADIM! Business has just kept me from getting on the computer much lately. But here is a little montage of some photos I have been taking over the last week.

..march 10 already..

Didn't March just start? Now it's almost halfway over.. Can't believe how time flies. Anyway, for anyone who might have been following my PADIM, I haven't been slacking :) I've been doing some collages lately like I had to do back in college. This one contains 6 photos, so technically that counts as 6 days' worth :)

It's neat to see how just the smallest angle change with the camera will give you totally different light and color. I have some more that I will try to post later.. The in-laws are coming for dinner so I need to get that started :P

..hold it steady..

When Jeff isn't flying the big ones at work, he's flying the little ones at home. He writes a lot of reviews for different R/C Airplane companies, so I'm always being commissioned to take the pictures for the reviews :) Today it was beautiful outside, and he needed some pictures of a new airplane he just got.. The plane is made of lightweight Styrofoam, so it was really easy for him to hover it near me. This picture might not get used in the review, but I thought it was pretty cool, so it's my PADIM #6

My PADIM for today is of a quick little project I did last night.. It's a wooden M I made for my scrap pal Melissa. It's pretty simple, I just wanted to make something spring-y for her. The week's half over, hope everyone is having a good one! :)

..a happy little line..

My PADIM #4 for your viewing pleasure :)

I have a collection of small little bottles lining my kitchen windowsill. Most of them were given to me by grandmother. After acquiring several from her, I started looking for them at yard sales and flea markets, just to see all of the different colors and shapes :)

That's what I'm gonna call my month-long photo shoot... PADIM. Stands for Photo A Day In March :)

So here you go, photos #2 and #3 :)

This was taken at a park near my house. The water was freezing or I would have gotten up in there and taken a picture looking out :)

And this is my Raleigh, she was snoozing big time :)

..happy march!..

March is one of my three favorite months out of the year. The weather starts getting pretty and it makes me want to get outside. So I'm challenging myself... for the month of March, I will take a picture every day and post it here. Granted I might combine two or three photos into one post, but I WILL take a picture every day. So if you'd like, check back here later today for Photo #1 :)

P.A.D #1 is here! :) I couldn't think of a better subject to represent the beginning of March than Daffodils. They are so pretty and bright, and I can't help but think "Spring" when I see them :)
