..spaghetti night..

Jeff and I both love spaghetti. Every week he requests my spaghetti and meatballs with salad and garlic bread. It's a dinner I actually like to make, because after the initial prep, I just wait for everything to cook itself. The best part of it, is how my stove top looks when I'm done :) Completely covered in sauce... but it's one mess I really don't mind cleaning up :)

..busy busy..

So my busy little life has kept me from here for the last couple of weeks. Between doctor visits for shots and having to be at work at 4am (yes, that's 4:00 in the MORNING!) I'm just wiped out. Sadly I haven't been able to work on any projects lately either. All I've had time to do is make 1 yummy chocolate pie and this neato Mosaic from random pictures I found on Flickr. I just love that place...

..love ATCs..

I joined in a Pet themed ATC swap on the CKMB and I FINALLY finished mine last night. Good thing, because they've gotta be in the mail today. I wasn't procrastinating, I swear! :) Anyway, most everyone in the group has a dog or cat. But the cow, lol, that one's for Scraprageous :) She let me know that cows can be pets too! :)

..winter blahs..

All I can say is that Chrystal on the CKMB has successfully chased my Winter Blahs away! I joined in a swap where you send your partner a goodie box filled with things to perk them up during this cold, dismal month. She really did it! She made me the cutest card, and I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but she put pop dots under some of the hearts. It's so pretty! And let me tell you how surprised I was to find a pack of Basic Grey Two Scoops!! Nowhere near me even carries this line yet!! She also sent me some great acrylic stamps (love that monkey!), some neat little buttons and some blingy flowers :) Chrystal, thank you soooo much for perking up my winter! :)

..lookie lookie..

Ok, so I started an Acrylic Album Support Group on the Creating Keepsakes Message Board. I was scared to do an acrylic album for fear it would turn out like poo. Well, I found out I wasn't alone! There were lots of gals who were just as scared as me :) So we banded together and formed the WCIILLPC. That stands for Who Cares If It Looks Like Poo Crew :) We all went to Lowe's or Home Depot and bought some cheap acrylic sheets. Most of us spent less than $8, which is why we don't' care if it looks like poo! :)

I went to Hobby Lobby today and got some goodies to use on my album... wanna see? :)

If you wanna join WCIILLPC or just see what all we've been doing, you can go to this thread:

..doctor visit..

So I had an appointment to go to the doctor today to get my first B12 shot and to get the results of my echocardiogram (which I had last Wednesday, and they told me I would know something last Friday!) I was also going to talk to the doctor about the results of my barium swallow which showed reflux. Well, I got to the doctor's office, and got called back. The nurse proceeded to give me a shot and say "All done, just schedule your next appointment and we'll see you next week."

I had to ask if my echo results were in.. she looked it up and said "Oh, it looks like the cardiologist didn't send the results here to the office.. we will have to let them know to send them here."

What? How did they not know? It was on my form?! And I also had to being up the reflux... never once saw the doctor, or even talked to him. They said I might know my echo results by tomorrow. I might? I mean, this is something that is bothering me, and it was a big enough deal for them to get me in for the echo two days after doing my EKG, so why does it take so long to let me know the results? :(
