..yummie tummie review & giveaway..

Before the girls were born, I used to walk all the time. With the girls being born a little early, and right at the beginning of the cold weather season, unfortunately we didn't get to hang out outside until just recently. Not sure about you, but for me, being sedentary in the house all winter equals a little hibernation blubber. Not gonna lie.. I'm a little thicker around the middle than I was before I got pregnant, and cold weather really has prevented me from being able to get out and walk it off. Now the weather is warm, and unfortunately I've had to put the baggy clothes away. Enter the shapewear...

I've recently had the privilege of reviewing the Yummie Tummie Original Tank. Now you have to understand, this is shapewear. It's tight. It's supposed to be, to hold all the jiggly bits in. The good thing is that it looks like a regular tank top, so you can layer it under just about anything. It also is a little longer in length, which I love. They don't just do tanks though. There are slips, skirts, shorts and even clothing. plus, they have shapewear for men!

So, what did I think? Well even though the tank is snug, it's really comfortable. And I did something really brave... I took pictures. When you look at these, be kind. remember I had twins, and all the weight I gained went right to my belly. The first picture is WITHOUT the tank, the second picture is with the tank (I left it hanging out underneath so you could see it):

 

These photos haven't been retouched at all, and I promise there's no sucking in. Now, this isn't a corset.. it's not going to take your midsection in 14 sizes or anything. But it will make you look less lumpy, less puffy. You can see in the second picture that my tummy looks a little more pulled in.  Overall, this tank does enough to help my self-esteem.
